William James McManis, 85 of Keokuk died Saturday, December 6, 2015 at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, IA. He was born February 24, 1924 the son of James D. and Esther Louise Fogeland McManis. William had been employed at General Mills, Hinkle, Ogilvie Mills-ADM in Keokuk until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Keokuk and Grain Millers Union. William is survived by his sister, Martha P. McManis of Keokuk. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold L. McManis. Services will be held at a later date.
