William "Bill" Rhodes Robertson, 59, of Wyaconda, MO, died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at his home. He was born on October 25, 1952 in Keokuk, IA, the son of James and Joy Young Robertson. On November 22, 1975, Bill was united in marriage to Katherine "Kathy" Green in Memphis, Missouri. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Robertson and her fiancée David Schneider of Wyndmoor, PA and Marye "Kate" Cline and her husband Jeff of Memphis, MO, two granddaughters, Nova and Penelope Cline of Memphis, MO, his parents, Jim & Joy Robertson of Wyaconda, MO, three brothers, Jim Robertson and his wife Debbie of Columbia, MO, David Robertson of Gorin, MO and Dennis Robertson and his wife Mary Ann of Blue Springs, MO, one aunt, Margaret Horn of Memphis, TN and several nieces, nephews, one great niece along with many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. Bill graduated from Wyaconda C-1 High School with the Class of 1970. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wyaconda. He was employed at Keokuk Steel Castings as a foreman. Bill enjoyed riding horses and mules, hunting and bowling. His granddaughters were his pride and joy and he cherished the time he spent with them. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 27, 2012 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO with Pastor Larry Smith officiating. Burial was in the Wyaconda Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
