View Video Tribute William O. Bell, 68, of Keokuk, IA, died Friday, April 11, 2008 at Lexington Square in Keokuk. He was born on April 27, 1939 in Iowa City, IA the son of Ben and Dorothy Marie Bell Blackman. He had been employed in security work in Las Vegas, NV. He retired in 1980 and moved to Keokuk, IA. William was a member of the God's Way Christian Center in Keokuk. He enjoyed fishing woodworking, refurbishing old cars and was an excellent mechanic. He is survived by two daughters, Billi Jo (Malloy) Weir and Shanice Marie Bell, both of Keokuk, IA, three grandchildren, Steven and Kasey Weir and Amirra Marie Scott, a nephew Ray Williams, Jr. a niece, Crystal R. Williams, several great nieces, great nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Joyce Williams. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 19 at God's Way Christian Center in Keokuk with Pastor Sylvia Tillman and Reverend Robert Williams officiating.
