Wayne Elbert Pinkston, 76, of Keokuk passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Harvest Acres Nursing and Rehab in Keota, Iowa.
He was born on September 6, 1949.
He had a great love for sports and was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers. He also had a sweet tooth and especially loved his chocolate. One of his favorite pastimes was sitting outside, enjoying the fresh air and watching the kids play outside.
He is survived by his nephew, Forrest Green of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Tonya and Neal Diamond of Keokuk, Iowa.
His gentle heart will be missed.
According to Wayne’s wishes, there will be no services.
The Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, Iowa, is assisting the family with arrangements.
