View Video Tribute Vivian L. Boyd, 66, of Keokuk, IA, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. She was born on October 11, 1944 in Keokuk, IA, the daughter of Albert "Bud" and Kathryn Hardy Finton. On July 9, 1961, she was united in marriage to Charles Boyd in Keokuk, IA. He survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Laura J. Mead of Keokuk, IA and Kimberly L. Brewer of Keokuk, IA, one son, Douglas W. Boyd of Keokuk, IA, six grandchildren, Brandon M. Mead, Tim Mead and his wife Leann, Tyann S. Brewer, Cornelious T. Brewer, Emily L. Londrie and Abigail E. Londrie , four great-grandchildren, Katelyn L. Mead, Jordyn L. Mead, Clayton D. Mead and Cayden T. Brewer, two sisters, Rosemary Percival of Warsaw, IL and Verla Robinson and her husband Dean of Warsaw, IL, three brothers, Jerry Finton and his wife Alma and Bill Finton all of Warsaw, IL and John Finton of of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert"Bud" Finton, her mother, Kathryn Hall, two daughters, Cindy Boyd and Amy Boyd, one grandson, Austin Boyd. four sisters, Susie Finton, Daisy Ashworth, Alice Lamborne and Maxine Grunewald and one brother, Art Finton, She attended God's Way Christian Church in Keokuk among many others throughout her life. Vivian loved making art and craft projects. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Vivian cherished every moment she spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk, IA. Memorials may be made to the family.
