Vince Lane Westermeyer, 62 of Montrose, IA died August 23, 2018 at his home. He was born February 2, 1956 in Ft. Madison, IA the son of Eldon Duane and Gloria Ruth Thompson Westermeyer. Vince attended Central Lee High School. He had been employed by Vermillion Trucking, Hickey Contracting, and most recently at Keokuk Contractors all in Keokuk. Vince is survived by two brothers, Rocky (Mickie) Westermeyer of Montrose, IA and Stuart Westermeyer of Keokuk, two daughters, Jassy Annis of Knoxville, IA and Michelle Jerkins of Knoxville, IA, four grandchildren and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Gathering of Remembrance for family and friends was held from 6-8 p.m., August 29th, at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA. Memorials may be made to the family.
