Tracy Lynn Wright, 53, a lifelong resident of Keokuk, IA died February 18, 2016 at her home in Keokuk. She was born March 7, 1962 in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Don and Karen Wright and Richard and Verna Cook Malone. Tracy had a love for cats and made sure every stray cat in the neighborhood was fed. She loved being outdoors and hunting for geodes, arrowheads and mushrooms. She enjoyed sewing and once had sewn a cabbage patch doll and care bear for every young child near and dear to her. She spent hours scouring yard sales in search of baby clothes for her handmade dolls. She loved her family and cherished every moment she spent with her grandchildren. Tracy will be greatly missed and continually loved and remembered by all who knew her. She is survived by two sons, Jennings Brian Wright and his wife Nicole and Steven Wright, one daughter, Terra Stewart and her husband Chuck, six grandchildren, Lily, Landyn, Meil, Leah, Katie and Kristin, a step-mother Karen Wright, a step-father Richard (Dick) Malone all of Keokuk, four sisters, Grace Drummond and her husband Dennis of Cantril, Lisa Givan and her companion Dwayne of Coal Valley, IL, Verna Nelson and her husband Rod of Donnellson and Tammy Wright and her husband Adam of Keokuk, two brothers, Don Wright and his wife Nola of Cedarvale, Kansas and Rex Wright and his wife Donna of Argyle, a step-sister, Elizabeth Cass and a step-brother, Jack Skinner both of Keokuk, plus numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, two sisters Kimberly Wright Cecil and Lorriane Pattison and a brother in law, Mike Pattison. A gathering of remembrance was held from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Elks Lodge #106 in Keokuk with the family meeting with friends at that time.
