View Video Tribute Tony Edward Boyer, 36, of Keokuk, Iowa, died Thursday, June 19, 2008, at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa. He was born on December 14, 1971 in Fort Madison, Iowa, the son of Michael Boyer and Linda Stiles Payton. Tony graduated from Keokuk High School with the Class of 1990. He had been employed at Bridgeway in Keokuk for the last 3 years. Tony enjoyed playing games on his playstation as well as collecting baseball cards. His nieces and nephews were very special to him and he enjoyed the time he spent with them. Tony is survived by his mother and step-father Linda and Bill Payton of Keokuk, IA, his father Michael Boyer and his fiancé Debby of Niota, IL, three sisters, his twin sister Tonya McDowell and her husband Mark of Ottumwa, IA, Lisa Parrish of Keokuk, IA, and Adelle Boyer of Niota, IL, and four brothers, Travis Boyer and his wife Laurie of Keokuk, IA, Todd Boyer and his wife Susan of Carthage, IL and Willie Boyer of Ft. Madison, Daryl Boyer of Round O, South Carolina, a step-sister Kathy Warner and her husband Dusty of Birmingham, IA, a step-brother Joe Payton of Keokuk, IA, his maternal grandmother Doris Lieurance of Keokuk, IA, his paternal grandparents, Leon and Geneva Boyer of Adrian, IL, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather. A Gathering of Remembrance for family and friends will was from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA.
