Toni J. Ransdell Chickie , 77, of Danville, IA died Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington, IA. Toni was born March 10, 1937 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of John Tommy and Hilda Carr Orth. She had been employed at Sheller Globe in Keokuk, the Burlington Golf Course in Burlington, IA and the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant in Middletown, IA. Toni enjoyed her puppy dogs and was a big fan of Elvis Presley and his music. She is survived by one son, Richard Ransdell (Amy Shafer) of Danville, IA, one daughter, Vickie Genck (George) of Keokuk, two granddaughters, Mandy Ransdell and Amber Genck, one great-grandchild, Mika McGuire, one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Ransdell of Danville, one brother and one sister. She was preceded in death by her parents. There will be no services or visitation.
