Timothy Haze Hubbard, Jr., 38, of Keokuk, IA, died at 11 p.m., Sunday, June 28 at the Keokuk Area Hospital. He was born on October 5, 1976 in Des Moines, IA, the son of Timothy, Sr. and Patricia Wisner Hubbard. Tim graduated from Central Lee High School in Donnellson with the Class of 1994. Tim leaves behind his wife, Stacie Curtis of Keokuk, one son, Dominyck Hubbard and one daughter, Kelcee Curtis both of the home, his mother, Patricia Benedict of Carrollton, TX, his father, Tim Hubbard, Sr. and his wife Kim of Burlington, IA, two sisters, Julie Page and Candace Bridges both of Ft. Madison, IA, one brother, Matthew Hubbard of Cedar Rapids, IA, two nieces, Lindsay and Ashley, two nephews, Thomas and Lucas, two great-nieces, two sisters-in-law, Melissa McKay and Tammie Kay and husband David all of Keokuk, two brothers-in-law, Jeff McKay of Keokuk and Jason Curtis of Wapello, IA , mother-in-law, Linda Curtis of Keokuk and father-in-law, Fred Curtis of Wapello, IA and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, one uncle, Bruce and father-in-law, Raymond Orr. Tim had been employed at Scotts in Ft. Madison for five years. He was currently employed at Allied Blending in Keokuk. He enjoyed watching sports especially football and WWE Wrestling. He was an avid fan of the Florida State Seminoles. He also enjoyed reading science fiction and mythology novels. Tim was a talented writer and had penned many poems which will be treasured by his family. Tim was a loving husband and father, willing to do anything for his family. It meant a great deal to him knowing that he was able to donate part of his liver to his son. In keeping with Tim's loving and generous spirit his final act was to give the gift of life by being a tissue donor. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Pastor John Curtis officiating. Visitation will be held after 1 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home with the family meeting with friends from 6 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Liver Foundation.
