Timothy Scott Breakbill, 60 of Keokuk, IA passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026 at his home.

He was born November 29, 1965 in Keokuk, IA the son of Robert and Nancy JoAnn Guild Breakbill. He graduated from Keokuk High School.

On May 26, 2001 Tim was united in marriage to Julie Land in Rand Park in Keokuk. She survives.

Other survivors include his daughter, Summer Miller of Keokuk, one grandson, Camdyn Miller of Keokuk. He is also survived by two brothers, Mark Breakbill of Rome, GA and Kirk Breakbill of Keokuk, one aunt, Barbara Devina of California and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tim had been self‑employed as a drywaller and painter for forty-five years in Keokuk, taking pride in the craftsmanship he brought to every job.

He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially mushroom hunting and searching for arrowheads. A true fan at heart, he loved cheering on NASCAR, the Iowa Hawkeyes, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A gathering of remembrance will be held from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, January 17 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with family meeting with friends at that time.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
