Thomas Allen Robinson, 60, of Keokuk, IA died Wednesday, June 06, 2012 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. He was born August 27, 1951 in Decatur, IL the son of William and Alice Blinkley Robinson. He was first united in marriage to Debra Hasten and to this union three children, Frederick, Thomas and Dawn were born. On August 27, 1988 he was united in marriage to Debra Clark in Donnellson, IA. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Frederick Robinson and his wife Tani of Phoenix and Thomas Robinson and his wife Candice of Keokuk, IA, four daughters, Dawn Farmer and her husband Nathan of Montrose, IA, Michelle Cook and her husband Joe of Ft. Madison, IA, Tisianna Robinson and her fiancé Rocky Azbill, Jr. of Keokuk, IA and Alicia Robinson, eleven grandchildren, two brothers, Arthur Robinson of Tacoma, WA and Gene Robinson and his wife Paula of Keokuk, IA Two sisters, Joy Dolfo and her husband Reginald and Faith Ann Arvizu and her husband John both of Phoenix, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, one brother, Terry Robinson and one grandson, Ryan Robinson. Tom was a veteran of the United States Air Force and proudly served his country. He attended Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, IL where he received his Associate of Arts and Associate of Science Degrees. Tom was a self employed electrician. As a young child he began to practice Karate and earned his Brown Belt. He always has been an avid reader and enjoyed hiking in the mountains. Tom also wrote and published a book about the Aztecs, "The Breaking of a Legend". Tom was devoted to his family and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. A Gathering of Remembrance was held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA. Memorials may be made to the family.
