Thomas L. Marsden

Thomas L. Marsden, 62, of Kahoka, MO died Monday, June 5, 2006 at his home in Kahoka in the arms of Rhonda Lynn, the love of his life. He was born in 1944 in Burlington, IA, the son of Reeder W. and Helen F. Dixon Marsden. On April 22, 1988, he married Rhonda Miller in Canton, Missouri. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Thomas L. Marsden Jr. and James Marsden, five grandchildren, his father R.W. Marsden, three sisters, Nan Dixon and her friend Tess Robertson, Carol Eller and Sue Sommers of her husband Bob, a brother Howard Marsden and his wife Donna, Rhonda's children, Jacob Nance and Jessica Nance. He was preceded in death by his mother, a brother, Joel Marsden and a sister, Judy Marsden. Tom was a veteran of the United States Air Force and proudly served his country from 1962 to 1966. He owned and operated Marsden Construction Company for 35 years retiring in 2003. According to his wishes his body has been cremated. A memorial service for family and friends was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 7 at the home of Tom and Rhonda. Memorials were made to the family
