Thomas Burton Jones, Jr., 66 of Keokuk, IA died Monday, March 7, 2022 at Mississippi Valley Healthcare in Keokuk. He was born November 14, 1955 in Keokuk, IA the son of Thomas and Marilyn Sweet Jones. On February 14, 1974 he was united in marriage to Beverly Milligan in Keokuk. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Annissa Abston (Bill) of Florida and Angalia Jones, one son, Tom Jones (Jovy) of Missouri and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Amy Coulter (Joe) of Chatham, IL and Tracie Severns (Don) of Hamilton, IL and one brother, Kevin Jones (Dee) of Oskaloosa, IA and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas D. Jones. Thomas had been employed at Roquette in Keokuk. Thomas was an outdoorsman at heart and spent as much time as possible in his garage. He was a skilled mechanic and loved working on cars. He owned and operated an auto body shop in the 1970's. Thomas enjoyed cookouts with his family and friends. A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on March 13, 2022 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with family meeting with friends at that time. Memorials may be made to the family.
