Thelma Louise "Weasel" Sherrill, 55, of Keokuk, IA died Friday, July 10, 2015 at her home.
Thelma was born on December 3, 1959 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Jesse Robert and Mildred Viola Thompson McGee.
She was a member of the Bethany Southern Baptist Church in Keokuk.
Thelma loved to go camping, cook outs, going fishing and playing the video slots. One of her favorite vacations was to go to Wyoming to see her brother Bob
She is survived by one daughter, Ellen McGee of Keokuk, one son, Jackson Brown and his wife Kelsey of Mason City, IL. 13 grandchildren, Elizabeth McGee, Alex, Ethan, Madison, Jaxson, Avah, Noah, Sofia, Ella, Adriana "BayBay", Ari and Jasmine, four sisters, Sally Bennett, Kim (Phil) Korschgen, Becky (Dawn) Hurt, Jeanine (Wesley) Denning, six brothers, Bob (Wanda) McGee, Jesse McGee, Kevin McGee, Dan (Linda) Burgess, Rick (Sue) Burgess and John Burgess and his wife Bobett, Tiger McGee (her cat), very special friends, Brenda Bond, Peggy McGee, Marilyn Stark and Rebecca Lee, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Ellen McGee, two brothers, Michael "Bear" McGee and Howard "Spike" Howard and his wife Vickie Burgess, three aunts, Marie Stark and her husband Gene, Ruby Daughters, and Eudora Lawson, one uncle, Winnie Thompson and his wife Louise and one grandson, Jeffery Brown.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk with Pastor Ken Barlow officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. with the family meeting with friends at that time. A procession to the cemetery will leave the funeral home at 12:45 p.m. following visitation.
