Terry Michael Jones, Sr., 76 of Keokuk, IA passed away March 30, 2024 at Southeast Iowa Regional Center in Ft. Madison, IA.

He was born in Keokuk July 16, 1947, son of Robert I. and Norma B. (Mortimer) Jones. On Feb. 24, 1968, he was united in marriage with Judith Kay Jones in Keokuk. She survives.

He was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. He is best known for joking and his humor to all who knew him.

He worked many years for the City of Keokuk, and after retiring he worked for Taske Force, still caring for the parks and cemeteries. He loved the outdoors and traveling.

He is also survived by his children: Crystal Jones of Blandinsville, Illinois, Terry Jones Jr. (Rebecca Mason) of Keokuk, Tracy Snowden (Eric) of Donnellson; and sister Cherie Wilsey (Jim) of Keokuk; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two siblings, Janet Egley (Pete), and Robert (Skip) E. Jones (Connie).

Memorials may be made to the City of Keokuk- Parks Department.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakland Cemetery, Section 36 in Keokuk, IA. Following the service a dinner will be held in his honor at Keokuk Odd Fellows Lodge 13, 1720 Blondeau St., Keokuk, IA.
