View Video Tribute Terry Lynn Jones, 55, of Keokuk, IA, died Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. She was born on November 8, 1951 in Keokuk, IA, the daughter of Chester and Wilma Edith Conner-Snyder Kay. On August 7, 1993, Terry was united in marriage to Chester E. Jones in Keokuk, IA. He survives. Other survivors include one son, Dale Miller and his wife Karen of Keokuk, two daughters, Renae Conlee and her husband Darren of Manhattan, KS, and Jana Kirchner of Ft. Madison, IA, two step-daughters, Miranda Jones and her husband Tim Garrelts of Keokuk, and Marlana Jones of Keokuk, three grandsons, Conrad Kirchner, Emmit and Cole Garrelts, two granddaughters, Haley and Marly Jones, her mother-in-law, Ardith Jones of Keokuk, two brothers, Chester "Bud" Kay and his wife Rhonda of Kamiah, Idaho, Ronald Kay and his wife Linda of Keokuk, two sisters, Julie Kay of Keokuk and Wilma Jean Roberts of Keokuk, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Terry graduated from Keokuk High School with the Class of 1971. She was an avid collector of Christmas ornaments and decorations. She enjoyed attending auctions, playing any type of card game, solving crossword puzzles and working on the computer. Terry had bowled for many years, raced stock cars and loved to travel. A Gathering of Remembrance for family and friends was held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA.
