Teresa Louise Groseclose, 53, of Fort Madison, IA passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at her home.

She was born November 23, 1970 in Unionville, MO, the daughter of Ward and Marilyn Tracy Groseclose.

Teresa attended Fort Madison High School and furthered her education at Southeastern Community College where she achieved her nursing degree.

She had been employed at The Tape Station and Eichacker Preschool. Most recently she was employed at Great River Medical Center in the Klein Unit.

She enjoying fishing and shopping where she frequented QVC and HSN. She was an excellent crafter, making elaborate Christmas bows and scrapbooking to make wonderful memories. Most of all, Teresa loved spending time with her family and grandkids.

Teresa is survived by one daughter, Narrezia (Ted) Burdette of Fort Madison and two grandchildren, Oliver and Otis, one brother, Joseph (Joy) Groseclose of Montrose, and three sisters, Lola Carver of Farmington, Mary Meyers of Fort Madison and Denise Groseclose of Burlington and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother-in-law, Doug Carver.

A memorial service was held 4 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2024 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Montrose.

Visitation was held one hour prior to the service with the family meeting with friends from 3 – 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made for her grandchildren's education fund.
