Teddy Paul Murphy, cherished baby boy of Daniel and Gracia Murphy passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Keokuk Area Hospital. He was born June 10, 2015 at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Missouri. Teddy was the light of his family's life. He loved to laugh at his brothers and couldn't wait to be big enough to play with them. His smile brought joy and happiness to everyone he touched. His biggest comfort was being held by his mom and dad and them singing to him. The loved ones left behind to cherish Teddy's memory include his parents, Dan and Gracia of Keokuk, two big brothers, Nolan Myles and Harper Lee, grandparents, Barry and Portia Anderson of Carthage, IL, Earl and Michelle Kite of Warsaw, IL and Sam and Song Kay of Hamilton, IL, and Ron and Irene Murphy of Keokuk, IA, great-grandparents, Norma and James Murphy of Keokuk, great-grandma Francine Kite of West Point, IA, aunt, Tiffany Roller of Carthage, IL, uncles, Todd Murphy both of Keokuk, and Liam Murphy, cousin, Georgia Jane of Carthage, IL, bonus aunt and uncle, Eric Beagles and Beth Beagles. He was preceded in death by his great-grandpa, William Kite and great-grandparents, Paul and Bernice Washburn. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Reverend Mike McMillen officiating. Burial was n the Croton Cemetery in Croton, IA. Memorials may be made to the family for Teddy's big brothers education fund.
