Steven "Steve" Richard Leverich, 55 of Ft. Madison, IA passed away Monday, October 27, 2025 at his home.

He was born November 22, 1969, in Louisiana, MO the son of Gerald Richard and Margaret Louise Chandler Leverich.

On March 28, 1992, Steven was united in marriage to Penny Henderson in Nebo, IL. She survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Evan Rhodes (Dustin) of Keokuk and Laken Henderson of Mississippi, one son, J.R. Jackson (Maria) of Keokuk and ten grandchildren, Carmine Martin of Keokuk, Jacy Miller of Mississippi, Keeland Henderson of Keokuk, Tavin Miller of Mississippi, Justin Cox of Jacksonville, Neveah Leverich of Pittsfield, IL, Addy Hare of Griggsville, IL Raelyn Moore of Pleasant Hill, IL, Axl Jackson of Pittsfield, IL and Myla Jackson of Keokuk. He is also survived by one sister, Lisa Ruble of Pittsfield, IL and one brother, Jason Leverich of Pittsfield, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Steven Leverich.

Steve had been employed by Merritt Swine in Farmington, IA.

He loved listening to all types of music especially classic rock and watching videos on You Tube.
