Steven Paul "Butch" Brown, 70, of Keokuk died Monday, February 16, 2015 at his home.
He was born June 28, 1944 in Keokuk the son of Joner and Martha Kay Brown. Butch was first united in marriage to Mary Ann Boudreau, to this union two children were born. They later divorced. He then married Jeannie Dennis and they divorced. He then married Loretta "Nan" Boudewyn and to this union one child was born. They later divorced.
Butch had been employed by Keokuk Steel Castings in Keokuk for many years.
He loved the outdoors and spent as much time as he could fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting. Butch enjoyed watching western movies, especially those which starred John Wayne.
He is survived by two sons, Steven Brown and his wife Lori of Ft. Madison, IA and Timothy Brown of Alexandria, MO and one daughter, Tammy Barrois of Denver, CO, two step-daughters, Lori "Annie" Alvis of Wayland, MO and Sala Baker of Keokuk and one step-son, Terry Boudewyn of PA, twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren, three sisters, Linda Brown of Montrose, IA, Diane LaFever of Australia and Dorothy Andrews and her husband Ronald of Ball Ground, GA and two brothers, William Brown of Keokuk and Joner Brown and his wife Chris of Keokuk.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Brown.
A Memorial Service was held at 5 p.m., Thursday, 19, 2015 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Brother Bill Hauser officiating.
