Sharon Grace Wheatley, 75, of Keokuk, IA died Sunday, February 6, 2022 at home. She was born on September 21, 1946 in Council Bluffs, IA the daughter of Howard and Louise Ellison. On June 17, 1972 she was united in marriage to Herbert Lee Ray Wheatley in Dallas City, IL. He preceded her in death. Sharon had been employed as a home health aide for several years in Keokuk. She was a member of First Christian Church in Keokuk. Sharon enjoyed cookouts with her family and friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and her best friends, Connie and Rollen Mural. She is survived by one son, Rick Wheatley (Lori) of Keokuk, four daughters, Tammy Buchholtz, Tina Galbreath (Keith) of Keokuk, Traci Wheatley of Keokuk and Lesia Totsch and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Herb Wheatley. A private graveside service will be held in the Keokuk National Cemetery.
