Sharon Weber, 69, of Keokuk, IA died Monday, July 20, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
She was born May 31, 1946 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Laverne and Ruth Isetta Carson Haist. On February 9, 1966 she was united in marriage to David Michael Weber in Carthage, IL. He survives.
She is also survived by two sons, David Weber, Jr. and his wife Binky of Hamilton, IL and Tony Weber and his wife Robin of Keokuk, five grandchildren, Darion, Mikelle, Juliana, Tori and Sean, one brother, Tim Haist and his wife Elizabeth of Hamilton, IL and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Terry Haist.
She was a graduate of Hamilton High School in Hamilton, IL.
Sharon had been employed at Sheller Globe/BTR in Keokuk for twenty years. She then worked at Lee County Home Health Department on the Hospice Team.
She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Keokuk.
Sharon was an avid reader of anything she could get her hands on. She loved to collect unicorns and go bowling with her family and friends. Sharon loved all kinds of animals.
A graveside service was held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 23,2015 at Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk with Father Tony Trosley officiating.
Visitation was held after 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with family meeting with friends from 6-8 p.m.
