Sara Barbara Wardlow, 63, of Kahoka, MO, died Friday, June 16, 2006 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. She was born February 7, 1943 in Panora, Iowa the daughter of Zene and Elsie Gilson Harris. She was united in marriage to Charles Wardlow on December 29, 1959 in Adel, Iowa. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Sara Lynn Branson and her husband Wayne of Revere, MO, three sons, Steven Matthew Wardlow and his wife Misty of Kahoka, MO, David Michael Wardlow of Revere, MO, and James "Jake" Charles Wardlow and his wife Niki of Kahoka, MO, eleven grandchildren, Chris Branson, Levi Branson, Sara Aliceamae Branson, Cearia Wardlow, Kaitlyn Wardlow, Isaac Wardlow, Taylor Wardlow, Zion Wardlow, Evan Wardlow, Michael Sweet, Blaine Wardlow two sisters, Donna Rockey of Las Vegas, NV, Diane Andersen and her husband Jerry of Boise, ID, special friends, Stephanie, Allison and Austin, Janet Murphy, sister-in-law, Camile Kimball and her husband Brad, brothers-in-law, Michael Wardlow and his wife Chris and Gerald Harris. Sara was preceded in death by her parents, two children, Sherry Lynn and Steven Douglas, one grandson, David Jerico, sisters, Helen, Sherry, LaVonne and Marilyn, brothers, Gene and J.T. She was employed at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka, MO as a dietary aid for 17 years. Sara attended the New Testament Christian Church in Keokuk, IA with her daughter. She was a loving mother and grandmother and cherished the time she spent with her family. She enjoyed attending craft shows and was a collector of different types of angels. Funeral services were held at 6 p.m. Monday, June 19 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial was at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 20 at the West Cemetery in Panora, Iowa. Visitation was after 1 p.m. Monday with the family meeting with friends from 4 -6 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials were made to her grandchildren's education fund.
