Sandra S. Durham, 74, of Keokuk, IA, died Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, IA.
She was born on November 26, 1942 in Keokuk, IA, the daughter of William August and Flora Ellen Otto Randall. She graduated from Keokuk High School with the Class of 1962. She then attended Moline Institute of Commerce.
Sandra had lived in Peoria, IL for many years. She had been employed as a school bus monitor for the Peoria School District 150, Peoria, IL for twenty-seven years. She also had worked at the Grandview Laundromat in Peoria Heights for sixteen years. She returned to Keokuk in 2008.
Sandra was a member of the Dayton Avenue Baptist Church and sang in the church choir while living in Peoria. She attended New Testament Christian Church in Keokuk and was a faithful member of the Thursday Women's Bible Study group.
She is survived by several cousins, her church family and a special friend, Shirley Smith of Peoria, IL.
She was preceded in death by her father, her mother Flora Harper and step-father Murl Harper and one brother, Ronnie Harper and his wife, Juanita Harper.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Pastor Jason Mott officiating. Burial was held in the Bluff Springs rural Canton, MO.
