He was born on August 14, 1951 in Keokuk, IA, the son of Samuel and Illene Washburn Robertson, Jr. He married Mary Samuels in 1972 in Keokuk, IA. He married Tami Boyd in 1982 in Davenport, IA. He graduated from Keokuk Senior High School in Keokuk, IA with the Class of 1970. He had worked in the construction business for ten years in Davenport, IA. He was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church in Keokuk, IA. Samuel is survived by his mother, Illene of Keokuk, IA, four children, Samantha Robertson of Corpus Christi, TX, Christopher Robertson of North Liberty, IA, Jesse Robertson of Iowa City, IA and Lisa Robertson of Baxter, IA, four grandchildren, Ebony Seeman, Paytience Robertson, Jadyn Busman and Matthew Gragg, Jr, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 12 at the All Saints Catholic Church in Keokuk, IA with Father Paul Connolly officiating.
