View Video Tribute Ruthie Mae Dade, 79, of Shaumburg, IL, formerly of Keokuk, IA died Monday, October 4, 2010 at the Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, IL. She was born March 3, 1931 in Elmore, AL the daughter of Evans and Nettie M. Reynolds Saxton. On August 20, 1955 she was united in marriage to Willie Dade in Keokuk, IA. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2004. Ruthie had been employed as a housekeeper. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Keokuk. Ruthie enjoyed bird watching, feeding the ducks, flower gardening and cooking. She loved animals especially her dogs and cats. She is survived by two sons, Shawn H. Dade of Lenexa, KS and Philip Anthony Dade and his wife Linda of Roselle, IL three grandsons, William Dade, Jeremy Dade, and Eric Dade, two half-brothers, Evans Saxton, Jr. and William Saxton both of Chicago, IL, one half-sister, Maxine Andersen of Chicago, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three sons in infancy. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Friday October 8,2010 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA. Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park in Keokuk, IA.
