Ruth Jobe, 90, of Keokuk, IA, died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at her home. She was born on July 10, 1915 in Warsaw, IL, the daughter of Otto and Lilllie Boone Oehmigen. She was first united in marriage to Malvin Oren (M.O.) Patterson. She then married Paul Jobe. He preceded her in death in November 15, 1992. Ruth had lived in Florida for ten years, from 1982-1992 and returned to Keokuk in 1992. She was a member of the Nazarene Church in Keokuk. Ruth is survived by one son, Butch Patterson of Lake Placid, FL, eight grandchildren, nine great-greandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, one sister Geraldine Symmonds of Keokuk, IA, one brother Robert Oehmigen of Naples, FL nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one son, Richard Patterson and one brother, John Oehmigan. As per her request there was no visitation or services her body was cremated and her remains were buried in the Keokuk National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Nazarene Church.
