Ronald L. Ward, 48, of Keokuk, IA, died Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, IA. He was born on April 9, 1968 in Keokuk, the son of Robert and Cindy Ward. Ronald graduated from Keokuk High School with the Class of 1986. He enjoyed going to the races at the Lee County Speedway in Donnellson. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR on television while munching on a bag of potato chips. Ronald loved his family and looked forward to family gatherings throughout the year. He is survived by one brother, Shawn Bennett of Keokuk, one sister, Stashia Lammers of Memphis, MO, two step sisters, Michelle Bennett of Keokuk and Diana Bennett of California, a step brother, Richard Bennett of Wayland, IA and several step- nieces and step-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk with Terry Altheide officiating.
