Ronald K. Fuller, 65, of rural Sutter, IL died Monday, August 29, 2011 at his home.
He was born on August 5, 1946 in Quincy, IL the son of Thomas and Marjorie Frazier Fuller. On August 27, 1968 Ronald was united in marriage to Sharon Ellenberg in Keokuk, IA. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Heather Fuller of Indianapolis, IN, one son, Ben Fuller of Warsaw, IL, his mother, Marjorie Fuller of Tioga, IL, two brothers, Sheryl Fuller of Tioga, IL and Keith Fuller and his wife Diane of Loraine, IL, two aunts, Vera Roskamp and her husband Bob of Sutter, IL and Aldena Stump of Mendon, IL, one nephew, Nathan Fuller of Glen Carbon, IL and two nieces, Christina Fuller of Orlando, FL and Elizabeth Recinos and her husband Juan of Quincy, IL and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, one brother in infancy and one great niece in infancy.
Ronald graduated from the Warsaw High School with the Class of 1965. He attended mechanics and big equipment maintenance schooling.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and proudly served his country during Vietnam.
He was an owner of Fuller Fertilizer from 1970-1998. Ron then went to work for Sharkey's Trucking as a truck driver from 1998-2001, at which time he retired.
He was a member of the Bear Creek American Legion Post 823 for 34 years.
Ronald enjoyed playing cards, golfing, watching football and auto races.
Funeral services were be held at 10 a.m., Friday, September 2, 2011at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA. Burial with military riteswas in the Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk, IA.
