Ronald Gary Feather, 68, of Warsaw, IL, died Monday, August 13, 2012 at Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. He was born on May 25, 1944 in Claysburg, PA, the son of Clark Woodrow and Helen Mock Feather. On April 2, 1982 Ronald was united in marriage to Zula Bloyd in Quincy, IL. She survives. Other survivors include one son , William Feather of Camp Point, IL two step-sons, Keith and Kevin Graham both of Warsaw, IL, one brother, Delbert Mock and his wife Barbara of Gettysburg, PA, one brother-in-law, Jim McIntyre of Fishertown, PA, several nieces, nephews and aunts. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Nancy McIntyre. Ronald was a veteran of the United States Navy and served his country during the Vietnam War. He had been a truck driver for 37 years. Ronald also owned his own truck and drove for Allied Van Lines , United Van Lines and Mayflower Van Lines. Most recently he had worked for Balmer Trucking in Keokuk. Ronald was a skilled woodworker and had crafted many beautiful pieces of furniture. He also made a detailed model of a semi-truck and an entire model train out of a tree. Ronald enjoyed fishing and working on lawn mowers with his son. Graveside services with Military Rites were held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the Keokuk National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Donor's Choice.
