Rodney W. Doran, 35, of Kahoka, MO, died May 1, 2009, at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. He was born June 7, 1973, in Quincy, IL, the son of Robert W. and Nina Kitson Doran. Rodney graduated from Canton R-5 High School with the Class of 1992. He was employed at ADM in Quincy, IL. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers, looking for mushrooms and Indian artifacts. Mostly he enjoyed having a good time and being with his friends and family especially with his four legged friends. Rodney is survived by his parents, Robert "Bobby" Doran of Williamstown, MO, and Nina Doran of Canton, MO, his fiancé, Lana Kirchner and her daughter Alyx Kirchner of Kahoka, MO, his sister, Lisa Dewitt and her husband Charles of Canton, MO, his brother, Robbie Doran of Canton, MO, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 7 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO with Pastor Mark Lowman and Leroy Robb officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.
