Robin Luecke, 66 of Montrose, IA, formerly of Clinton, IA, died Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington, IA.

She was born February 21, 1956 in Clinton, IA the daughter of Fred and Betty Flack Rettkowski.

Robin was united in marriage to Christian Luecke in 1987. He preceded her in death in 2004.

She had been employed as a waitress and at several craft stores through the years.

Robin was very artistic and loved to draw, write poetry and make all types of craft projects. She was an excellent seamstress and made beautiful quilts. She also enjoyed fishing. Christmas was Robin's favorite time of year and she made her own Christmas cards every year. Robin was very spunky and hard-headed and was one of the strongest women you would ever meet.

She is survived by three daughters, Rolanda Rettkowski of Montrose, IA, Tiffany Rettkowski of Columbus, OH and Cohdey Otten of AZ, one son, Shandon Maltas of Oquawka, IL, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Rosie Nissen and Reba Marburger, three brothers, Ray Rettkowski, Roger Rettkowski and Ross Rettkowski and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Rita Hedstrom and Richell Borgstrom and one brother, Ricky Rettkowski.

According to her wishes, there will be no services.
