View Video Tribute Roberta Ann Hedden Ferguson, 84 of Keokuk, Iowa died Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Montrose Health Center in Montrose, IA. She had been ill for ten months. Roberta "Bert" was born August 5, 1927 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of John and Lula Fickel Hedden. She married William "Bill" Ferguson on May 6, 1943 in McCook, NE. He preceded her in death in 1976. Roberta had worked in the jewelry department at Montgomery Ward's in Keokuk, and at Land's Service Station in Alexandria, MO. Her priority was always her family. She was a member of New Testament Christian Church in Keokuk, IA. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Martens and her husband Roger of Keokuk, IA and Carol Miller and her husband Raymond of Keokuk, IA, one son, William "Bill" Ferguson and his wife Mary Ellen of Vincennes, IN, one brother, Robert Hedden of Keokuk, IA, two sisters, Mildred Kennedy of Farmington, IA and Veda Rockefeller of Grovetown, GA, seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Thelma Shaffer, two brothers, Ernie and Harold Hedden and one grandson, Roger D. Martens, Jr. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 9 at the New Testament Christian Church in Keokuk, IA with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial was in the Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk, IA. Memorials may be made to New Testament Christian Church or the donor's choice.
