Robert Lynn Robertson, Sr., 56, of Wyaconda, MO, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis, MO. He was born on December 9, 1953, the youngest of four children, to Floyd and Eileen Holt Robertson. He married Betty Webster on July 4, 1973 in Wyaconda, MO. A lifelong resident of Wyaconda, MO, Bob graduated from the Wyaconda High School with the Class of 1971. He had been employed at Smith Brothers Farm Supply from his early teenage years until it's closing in 2007. He was a member of the Wyaconda Christian Church and served as a volunteer fireman for the Wyaconda Fire Department. Bob enjoyed tinkering with anything broken and was always on the lookout for new tools to add to his extensive collection. He looked forward to the demolition derby season and watching his kids race. He is survived by one son, Robert L. Robertson, Jr. and his wife Rachel Anne of Ft. Rucker, Alabama, one daughter, Rachel E. Robertson of Wyaconda, MO, four grandchildren, Matthew, Johnathon and Katelynn Robertson and Logan Hooper, two sisters, Janet Pipes of Mesa, AZ and Ann Lemmon and her husband Lee of Williamstown, MO, one brother, Larry Robertson and his wife Kay of Lewistown, MO, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and aunts and uncles. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at the Wyaconda Christian Church in Wyaconda, MO with Reverend Shawn McAfee officiating. Burial was in the Wyaconda Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Wyaconda Fire Department.
