View Video Tribute Robert Eugene "Bobcat" Page, 70, of rural Montrose, IA died Sunday, July 12, 2009 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. He was born on March 28, 1939 in Crossville, TN the son of Cloyd P. and Minnie Abston Page. On May 22, 1965 Robert was united in marriage to Mary Jane Murphy. She survives. Other survivors include six daughters, Patty Hymes and her husband Greg of Warsaw, IL, Tammy Miller of Keokuk, IA, Lisa Petty and her husband Chuck of Keokuk, IA, Susan Miller of Warsaw, IL, Lillian Fowlkes and her husband Glenn of VA, and Linda Gaudino and her husband John of Cabot, AR, four sons, Robert Page and his friend Laurie Hunter of Keokuk, IA, John Morton and his wife Sherry of Warsaw, IL, Jason Page of Argyle, IA, and Cloyd Page and his wife Tracy of Warsaw,IL, and one brother, Maurice Page and his wife Sharon of Perryville, MO, 34 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, David Stanley Page. Robert was a self employed carpenter for most of his life and retired in 1990. He was a member of the Calvary Chapel in Warsaw, IL. Robert loved to go to flea markets, fish, hunt, and talk on his CB radio where he acquired the nickname "Bobcat". He especially enjoyed the time he spent hanging around with his family. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Pastor John Morton officiating. Visitation was held after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with family meeting with friends from 6 -8 p.m. A graveside service was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Scandinavian Cemetery in rural Keokuk, IA.
