Rev. Robert "Buzz" Francis Carr, 58, of Revere, MO formerly of Keokuk, IA died Friday, September 1, 2006 at his home. He was born September 15, 1947 in Keokuk, IA the son of Delmar and Frances Franks Carr. He married Joy Belinda Graham in 1970 and later divorced in 1973. Robert was a 1966 graduate of the Keokuk High School. Following high school he faithfully served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was employed at BTR and several years for Hickey Contracting in Keokuk, IA. He was also pastor of the Church of the New Hope. Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an arrowhead collector. He is survived by his daughter: Wendy Hammel and her husband Derek of Hamilton, IL, three grandchildren, Haleigh, Brett and Drake Hammel, one brother, Danny Carr and his wife Renee of Keokuk, IA, one sister Susan Carr of IA. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael Carr. Graveside services with military rites were held at 1 P.M. Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at the Keokuk National Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
