Robert Lloyd Byrn, 61, of Canton, Missouri died Monday at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. He was born March 9, 1952 in Macomb, IL the son of Olan and Betty Meeker Byrn. In 1979 he was united in marriage to Jane Ann Brown. She preceded him in death on September 5, 1985. Robert graduated from the Clark County High School with the Class of 1970. He was employed at Henniges Automotive and retired in 2010. Robert enjoyed fishing and cooking new recipes. Most of all enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by a daughter, Kim Brewer and her companion Daniel Moore of Ft. Madison, IA, a son, Robert Michael Byrn and his wife Jonann of Vincennes, Iowa, five grandchildren, Robert Bryant, Kimberlynn Bryant, Madissyn Brewer, Mathias Byrn, Layna Moore, a sister, Loretta Byrn and her companion Sam Cochenour of Kahoka, MO 63445 MO, two brothers, Cory Byrn of Wayland, MO and Eddie Byrn and his wife Sharon of Moore Park, CA, along with many nieces and nephews. Besides his wife he was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Judy Byrn. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 11th, 2013 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka. Burial was in the Kahoka Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
