Obituary

Robert Monroe Bow, 65, of Keokuk, died April 27, 2018 at his home. He was born on February 17, 1953 in Reno, NV, the son of Clarence and Bernice Robinson Bow. On June 16, 2003 Robert was united in marriage to Tina Mills in Sacramento, CA. She survives. He is also survived by four daughters, Clarissa Hetrick of Rogers, AR, Diana Bow-Miller of Placerville, CA, Lisa Wills of Orangevale, CA and Judy Garrett of Keokuk, eight grandchildren, Justin Gray of Shingle Springs, CA, Kanesha Moore of Placerville, CA, Kayla Kennedy of Rogers, AR, Athena Evangel of Shingle Springs, CA, Morgan Wills and Landon Wills both of Orangevale, CA, Olivia Garett and Elliot Garrett both of Keokuk, two great-grandsons, Jimmy Gray and Jackson Gray both of Shingle Springs, CA, one sister, Sue Bow of Garden Valley, CA, and his special pets, Spot the three-legged cat and Dice, his service dog. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eugene Bow. Robert was a veteran of the United States Army and the United States Air Force and served in the Vietnam War and Desert Storm. He had been employed as a Licensed Vocational Nurse at a Nursing Home in California. He then worked for High Tech Institute as a pharmacy tech. He was a member of the LDS Church. Robert was an avid fisherman. He would catch and clean fish and take them to the residents of the Mississippi Terrace in Keokuk and became known as "The Fisherman". He also enjoyed hunting and was a rock hound. He had a large rock collection which included geodes, crystals, lime and anything else he could fine. There will be no service or visitation.
