Robert "Bob" Lee, 54 of Keokuk, IA died Friday, July 27, 2012 at his home in Keokuk, Iowa. He was born December 30, 1957 the son of James and Shirley Simon Justus in Santa Ana, CA. Bob was the owner and operator of the Maytag Laundromat and Bob's Car Wash in Keokuk, IA. He also was an independent master carpenter. He was a member of the Elvaston Presbyterian Church in Elvaston, IL. He enjoyed traveling, camping, playing guitar, studying astronomy and photography. He was a Boy Scout leader for several years for Troop #48 and was a member of the Order of the Arrow. He also enjoyed going to car wash trade shows to learn about new car wash technology. Robert is survived by his parents, James and Shirley Justus of Elvaston, IL, three step sons, Pat Gibbs and his wife Angie, Rusty Gibbs all of South Carolina, and Robert Keith Brewer and his wife Cheyanne of Keokuk, IA, two step daughters, Ashley Azbill and her husband Rocky, and Alyssa Lee all of Keokuk, IA, three step grandchildren, Bobby Brewer, EmaLee Brewer, and Bentlee Glasgow all of Keokuk, IA, three brothers, Kevin Lee and his wife Jennifer of Washington, IL, Tim Lee and his wife Michele of Richton Park, IL, and James Justus of Warren, MI, two sisters, Diana Allen of Hamilton, IL and Tammy Merritt and her husband Brad of Clayton, IL, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter Melany Tegan Lee, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Simon and Elsie Lee. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the Elvaston Cemetery in Elvaston, IL with Pastor Ron Leonard officiating. Memorials may be made to Boy Scout Troop #48 or the Hancock County Ministry Association Camp Fund.
