Richard A. Kamps, 71, of Kahoka, MO, died Sunday, July 10, 2005 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. He was born July 6, 1934 in Keokuk, IA, the son of Richard W. and Violet Alston Kamps. Richard graduated from Keokuk High School in 1952 and attended the First Christian Church in Keokuk. He enjoyed gardening and selling the vegetables from his garden. Richard enjoyed visiting with his family. He is survived by one daughter, Tracy Arnone and her husband Phillip of Charlotte, NC, one son, Clifford Kamps of Moline, IL, one granddaughter, Rae Arnone, two sisters, Judy Schaaf and her husband Paul of Camanche, IA and Donna Kamps of Keokuk, IA and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Interment was held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2005 in the Oak Hill Cemetery in rural Wayland, MO with Reverend Bill Mitchell officiating.
