Richard C. Boyle

Richard C. Boyle, 87 of Greenbrier, TN died Thursday, October, 6, 2016 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Clarksville, TN. He was born on June 21, 1929 at Ft. Madison, IA the son of Raymond and Rose Rauenbuehler Boyle. Richard proudly served his country for 14 years in the United States Navy, achieving the rank of Lieutenant. He graduated from the Quincy University and was a retired businessman. Survivors include a brother-in-law, James "Mac" Law, nieces, Julie Law, Mary Jo Uhlmeyer, Susan Francik, and Sharon Law, a nephew, David Law, along with special cousins, Susan and Larry Estes and Bernice and Bill Merschman. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary "Joann" Law. Graveside service with full military honors were held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Keokuk National Cemetery with Father Marty Goetz officiating. A memorial has been established for the St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point, IA. The Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk is in charge of arrangements.
