Rhonda Harmon Driver, 60 of Keokuk, IA passed away Friday, January 17, 2025 as the result of an accident in Alexandria, MO.
She was born March 22, 1964 in Keokuk, the daughter of Walter Dallas and Rose Houghton Harmon.
Known for her "take no crap" attitude, Rhonda was a force to be reckoned with and the light in the lives of everyone who knew her. She spent many years behind the wheel as a cab driver, earning the love and respect of her community. Whether she was sharing a laugh or standing her ground, Rhonda left an unforgettable impression wherever she went.
Rhonda had a special bond with her cat, Peace, who was her constant companion and brought her endless joy.
Rhonda was a proud and devoted mother to her three children: Clara of Cedar Rapids, Hannah of Mount Pleasant, and Caleb of Quincy, her cherished grandchildren: Madelyn, Josiah, and Gavin; her sister, Brenda Carlson of Geneva, IL; and her niece and nephew, Stephen and Rachel. Rhonda is remembered for her strong spirit, her fierce love for her family, and her ability to brighten the day of anyone lucky enough to cross her path.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother in infancy, David Troy Harmon.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, whose strength, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A gathering of remembrance was held from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with the family meeting with friends at that time.
