Rebecca K. Hoffman, 57, of Keokuk, IA, died Monday, October 15, 2007 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. She was born on May 8, 1950 in Keokuk, IA, the daughter of Edward & Minnie Opstelton Hoffman. Rebecca had been employed at River Hills Nursing Home, Hardees and County Market all in Keokuk. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Keokuk, IA. Rebecca loved animals and had several cats that were very special to her. She and her mother had raised Scottie dogs and showed them at dog shows in New York. Rebecca especially enjoyed talking to her friends every day. She is survived by her companion, Steve Otto of Keokuk, IA and many close friends. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Rev. Mike Shea officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk. Memorials maybe made to the Keokuk Humane Society.
