Rasberry Williams, 70, of Keokuk, died Monday, November 14, 2016 at Lexington Square in Keokuk.
He was born on April 4, 1946 in Minter City, MS, the son of George and Lizzie Lee Randall Williams.
He had been employed at John Deere and also as a bailiff at the Black Hawk County Courthouse in Waterloo, IA.
Rasberry enjoyed playing pool and visiting his brothers and sisters in Chicago. He found great strength in reading his Bible daily.
He is survived by one daughter, Charletta Suddith of Waterloo, IA, five brothers, Dwayne "CD" Lofton of Cedar Rapids, IA, Will Richardson, George Williams, Jr, Monroe Williams and "Melvin" Milton Williams all of Chicago, four sisters, Shirley Norwood of Chicago, Jacquline Higgenbottom of Detroit, MI, Gara Jewel Young of Texas and Dorothy Jones of Mississippi, and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Fonda Williams, one sister, Josie Ree Johnson and five brothers, Eddie Williams, James Edward Williams, Freddie Williams, Eugene Peace and Larry Williams.
There will be no service or visitation.
