Ralph F. Linquist, 77, of Keokuk, IA died Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Fort Madison Health Center. He was born on March 27, 1936 in Keokuk, IA the son of Virginia Collins. He graduated from Keokuk High School and received his Bachelor's Degree in business from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He had been employed with the FBI and also Child Protective Services. After his retirement he helped install DISH satellites. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the Southside Boat Club in Keokuk. Ralph loved to cook and socialize with friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Quentin, Nicholas and Mariah. He is survived by one son Scott Linquist and one daughter Michelle Moreno both of California, two step-daughters, Laura Manzo of Carthage, IL and Marla Mango-Singer of Algonquin, IL, one step-son, Dan Manzo of Elk Grove Village, IL, three grandchildren and his all time favorite companion, his dog Brown Sugar. He was preceded in death by his parents and his longtime companion, Judy Manzo in 2007. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m., Monday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA. There will be no visitation. A memorial has been established.
