Ralph Everett Jobe, 80, of Keokuk, IA died Monday March 21, 2005 at the Keokuk Area Hospital, Keokuk, IA. He was born August 22, 1924 in Keokuk, IA the son of Warry and Daisy Frakes Jobe. He married Mildred "June" Stutes on November 1, 1942, she died on March 24, 1985. He then married Helen Skinner in 1986, she died in Sept. of 1995. He then married Dorothy Page Windler on December 14, 1996 in Keokuk, IA. She survives. Other survivors include, three sons, Ronald Jobe and his companion Connie of Keokuk, IA, Warren "Butch" Jobe of Keokuk, IA, and Max Jobe of Hamilton, IL, Three daughters, Joy Jobe of Keokuk, IA, Vicki Hendrickson and her companion Gary "Joe" Stiles of Keokuk, IA, and Connie Jobe of Keokuk, IA, one step daughter, Melody Riter and her husband Joe of Keokuk, IA, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two brothers, Raymond Jobe and his wife Marjorie of Keokuk, IA and Donald Jobe of Warsaw, IL, one sister Berniece Gabel and her husband Gene of Keokuk, IA, several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Ralph was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served his country overseas in Italy and Germany during WW II. Ralph was employed at Thomas Truck and Caster, Hoerner Box and retired from Morse Chain all in Keokuk, IA. He was a member of the New Testament Christian Church in Keokuk, IA. He enjoyed hunting, watching game shows on television, doing yard work and tending to his vegetable garden. He also enjoyed renovating homes and doing mechanical and body work on cars. He was very talented in poetry and artistic drawing besides being very musically inclined and played the piano, accordion, and harmonica. Funeral services were held at 1:30 P.M. Thursday, March 24, at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial with military rites was in the Keokuk National Cemetery.
