Ralph "Jack" Dunn, 85 of Keokuk, IA died Thursday, September 01, 2011 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. He was born August 28, 1926 in Keokuk, IA the son of Ralph and Ocie Emma Webb Dunn. He was united in marriage to Joy Huston in 1952 in Keokuk, IA. She preceded him in death on July 21, 1998. Ralph was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served his country during WWII. Ralph worked at Metzelers/ Henniges in Keokuk, IA as a janitor for thirty years, retiring in 1991. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He also enjoyed watching western movies as well as reading western books. He is survived by two daughters, Joyce Schnelle and her husband Dustin of Ursa, IL and Sandra Jackson and her husband Timothy of Keokuk, IA, two sons, Robert Dunn and his wife Linda of Mississippi and Albert Dunn and his wife Tresa of Keokuk, IA, eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Cathy Dunn and one sister, Jeri Starr. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk, IA.
