R. Marolyn Roberts, 70, of Wayland, MO, died February 13, 2014 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. She was born December 22, 1943 in Alexandria, Missouri the daughter of Edwin Farold and Leta Fowler Brooks. On August 6, 1994 she was united in marriage to Richard Rick Roberts in Wayland, MO. He survives. Other survivors include six children, Lawrence Hageman and his wife Patty of Winchester, MO, Christine Paul and her husband Arron of Kahoka, MO, Shelly Flach of Quincy, IL, Curtis Hageman of Winchester, MO, Dustin Hageman and his companion Tara of Wayland, MO and Teresa Hageman of Wayland, MO; four step children, Teresa Golliday of Burlington, IA, Paula Roberts of Wayland, MO, Tim Roberts and his wife Susan of Wayland, MO, and Kim Sheppard and her husband Fred of Moscow Mills, MO; thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; one brother, Edwin Brooks and his wife Betty of Canton, MO; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin sister, Ruth Carolyn Brammer and a brother Harold Dean Brooks. Marolyn had been employed at the Keokuk Area Hospital in the housekeeping department for ten years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, gardening and working crossword puzzles. Most of all she loved being with her family. Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Sand Cemetery in St. Francisville, MO with Pastor Glen Yoder officiating. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Monday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka with the family meeting with friends at that time. Memorials may be made to the family.
