Patty Ann Farmer

Patty Ann Farmer, 60, of Keokuk, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at her home.

She was born August 27, 1965, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Robert Dean Hancock and Lucy Sluttes. Patty attended Keokuk High School and was later employed by BTR in Keokuk.

Patty cherished spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved fur babies. She enjoyed gathering with her sisters to watch scary movies, playing Yahtzee, and was well known for her appreciation of sarcasm and quick wit.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Andersen of Kansas City, Missouri; her daughter, Susan Hemm of Fort Madison, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Marc Andersen, Kaitlyn Andersen, Gavin Lesher, Noah Lesher, Julian Lesher, Leah Hemm and Audrey Hemm both of Fort Madison, IA; three brothers, John Waller of Palatine, Illinois, Jack Hancock of Sandia, Texas; Robert Dean Hancock II of Fort Madison, IA and one sister, Bondeana Hancock Davis of Keokuk.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Xavier Andersen; two brothers, Scott Hancock and Jeff Hancock; and two nephews, Eric Hancock and Jeremiah Hancock.

A service will be held at a later date.
